Dar es Salaam & Arusha 2023 & 2024 Presidential Guest of Honor
The Drug Control and Enforcement Authority (DCEA), under the Office of the Prime Minister, engaged Route Marketing Consultancy to manage pre-event activations and full event setup for the National Commemoration of World Drug Day, "Maadhimisho ya Kitaifa ya Siku ya Kupiga Vita Dawa za Kulevya Duniani," held in 2023 at Mnazi Mmoja Grounds, Dar es Salaam, and again in 2024 at Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium, Arusha.
Both editions were graced by President Samia Suluhu Hassan as Guest of Honor, raising the bar for the standard of infrastructure, protocol, and production the day required.
Route Marketing delivered the full physical build for both editions of the commemoration, from bare ground to finished ceremony, across a two-week production window each time.
At both Mnazi Mmoja Grounds in Dar es Salaam and Sheikh Amri Abeid Stadium in Arusha, Route Marketing built the full grounds infrastructure for DCEA's National Commemoration of World Drug Day, themed "Zingatia Utu, Imarisha Huduma za Kinga na Tiba." A dedicated presidential stage and VIP tent hosted President Samia Suluhu Hassan and fellow dignitaries, backed by a full stage, truss, and sound production, with a branded entrance arch welcoming guests onto the grounds.
Beyond the main ceremony, Route Marketing also delivered a run of vendor and sponsor exhibition tents around the grounds, hosting partner organisations including the Cereals Board of Tanzania and Youth Community Rehabilitation, giving the day a full festival-style footprint alongside the formal commemoration.
Route Marketing delivered the full event infrastructure for two consecutive years of DCEA's National World Drug Day Commemoration, hosting a sitting Head of State on both occasions, with positive feedback from the client each time.
